Do you ever feel confused about your Lean Six Sigma Project? (#3)

  1. Project Closure Rates is the greatest issue for a Lean Six Sigma Deployment. With a Lean Six Sigma Deployment, students participate in interactive study that spans across multiple weeks, overflowing with new and exciting information. Once the class has concluded, students receive the guidelines and deliverables to achieve their certification. Of all the Lean Six Sigma Projects, only 7 out of every 20 projects started are successfully concluded.
  2. So why are so many projects unsuccessful in their closure?
  3. The brunt of this misfortune is the trap of the Master Black Belt. A MBB has the exquisite understanding of the Lean and Six Sigma Methodology. We teach this methodology and we help implement it; however we sometimes assume that our students can connect the dots. As the instructor, we expect our students to inquire if they are confused. However, so many times there is so much new information floating around that the students cannot articulate a question to begin with. This type of “input” prompts students to return to their organization without any idea on where or how to begin their projects.
  4. If they don’t understand how to begin, it will be all to easy for them to regress to old processes and stall their projects, possibly indefinitely. New students require a template, which we describe as the Six Sigma Green Belt Project Roadmap, to guide them towards successfully completing their Projects. We asked student’s where their troubles were with Project Completion to which they replied “we need help getting started and understanding where to go next.”
  5. The first step is always the most difficult. Six Sigma Development Solutions, Inc. decided to shed a little bit of light by equipping our students with a detailed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project Roadmap. The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project Roadmap will help those students undergoing a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project with efficiency and effectiveness. For those students who are instilling Lean and Six Sigma within their organization, this roadmap will help you gauge the progression of your project.
  6. Included in the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project Roadmap:
  7. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project Benchmarks
  8. Descriptive Benchmark Reviews for each stage in the DMAIC Process
    DMAIC Green Belt Project Flowchart
--Shows progression of a general Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project to guide your progression in your own project
  9. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project Requirements
--Defines SSDSI’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Requirements through an easy-to-follow PowerPoint Presentation
Are adaptable to be recycled as generic project certification requirements
  10. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project PowerPoint Template
-- Roadmap to aid in your understanding of “how to start” and “what to do next”
Work instructions to aid in your understanding of the flow of a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project
